Period of Inquiry
The period of inquiry is typically Return here in the fall for more information information on the period of inquiry for OCIA. The period of inquiry is when you can ask questions and learn about the program. There is no commitment during this time.
Our OCIA program is an eight-month series of weekly classes in preparation for receiving the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and First Communion at the Easter Vigil.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is for adults who are non-baptized; baptized in another faith, or baptized Catholics who received no formal religious training and never received first Communion and are interested in becoming Catholics, or seeking full communion with the Catholic Church.

Consider attending the next Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) program at St. Theresa Parish. Or invite someone you think might be interested in the OCIA program.
We offer an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of the Church and prepare individuals to receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season. There are separate sessions for children or youth.
You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights, and your faith story in a warm and accepting setting.
